Giuseppe Saporito esce di casa insieme al figlioletto Davide. In auto passano per via Castel Morrone proprio mentre i terroristi stanno uscendo, armi in pugno, dall’ufficio postale che hanno appena svaligiato. Un metronotte li insegue sparando. Uno dei nappisti, Alfeo Zanetti, blocca l’auto di Saporito, lo colpisce con il calcio della pistola, lo costringe a lasciargli il volante. Saporito è lì, sull’auto, terrorizzato, che cerca di proteggere il bambino accanto a lui mentre terroristi e guardie giurate continuano a spararsi addosso. Una pallottola, sparata dal metronotte della Mondialpol, raggiunge Saporito e lo uccide. Al processo, per quell’operaio morto per causa loro, dagli uomini dei Nap (Alfeo Zanetti e Enzo Caputo) non arriverà neanche mezza parola di pietà.
Giuseppe Saporito sarà riconosciuto vittima del terrorismo soltanto 34 anni dopo.
